There are two parking lots around our church. One located right off of Webster Ave (Main Entrance), and one near our Preschool in the back (enter from Allouez Ave.). If these spots are filled, parking is allowed on the street located behind church (Woodrow Way).
Feel free to sit anywhere in the church as our families spread themselves out on Sunday morning. Prior to entering church, you will find a detailed outline in the bulletins provided by an usher. Everything you will need for service will be printed in the bulletin and the Lutheran Service Book (LSB) Hymnal located in the pew.
Children are welcomed into our service and encouraged to participate with the rest of the congregation. All children are welcome to come up for the Children's Lesson during the Service.
If they do need some “wiggle room,” you may move to the Wiggle Room (located in the narthex area), until they are ready to return to the service. There you will find a changing station, small bathroom, some books and a few toys. Children's Bulletins are available to the right of the main Sanctuary doors.
Our main entrance is a zero entry leading to the Sanctuary. If your needs require, we also have an elevator.
Hearing Devices are available in the back of the Narthex. Please ask an usher for assistance.
Large Print Hymnal is available in the back of the Narthex for your use.
Faith Lutheran Church is Confessional, Liturgical Congregation of the North Wisconsin District of the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod.
SUMMER SERVICE TIMES:
(Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day Weekend)
Sundays: 8 am & 9:30 am
Mondays: 6:30 pm
Through Lutheran Liturgy, we celebrate the Divine Service with the Sacrament of the Altar (closed communion) each week. We believe in the Good News of the forgiveness of sins through the birth, life, death, resurrection, and ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ and joyfully apply this Gospel message to our daily life. The study of the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions is a high priority for us individually and communally. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we grow as brothers and sisters in Christ and in our identity as Lutheran Christians.
The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) recognizes and respects the differences in beliefs regarding the nature and confession of Holy Communion and therefore holds to the Biblical practice of closed communion. We believe Christ’s body and blood is being distributed with the bread and wine during the Lord’s Supper. This is Christ’s gift given for the forgiveness of sins, the strengthening of faith, and for the public confession of what we believe and teach. Since it is possible to receive the Lord’s Supper sinfully and to your detriment, we ask that you speak with the pastor prior to receiving the Lord’s Supper.
If you do not have the opportunity before service begins, you are welcome to receive a blessing during communion. Please indicate this desire by crossing your arms during the distribution of the sacrament.
